- Most years, Braemar residents join forces and host a neighborhood garage sale over the Memorial Day weekend. Contact Ernie Lehmann for more information.
Flamingo Fridays (new for 2011!) - A backyard Happy Hour of sorts. Hosts welcome guests to drop by their back deck or patio for social time between 5 and 7 (time may be extended at the discretion of the host). Hosts provide beer and water, and guests bring an appetizer and bottle of wine to share. A flamingo will be placed in the front yard of the host home 1 hour before the event. Enter through the backyard please.
- Braemar residents meet once a year in the early Spring for this fun variation of volleyball. Learn more about wallyball here. To join, please contact Sue Callahan.
- Games take place Sunday mornings in Lake Zurich, September through November. Contact Rich Pippala or Gregg Johnson to learn how to join our Fall flag football league.
- Games are played in Barrington on Monday evenings, May through July. Contact Rich Pippala about joining the team.
- Couples meet every 2nd Saturday evening of the month at Wauconda Bowl. Contact Greg Stratton or Steve Callahan for more information.
- Braemar men meet the first Friday evening of each month for a friendly card game. Contact Terry Huels for more information.
- Braemar residents are encouraged to decorate their homes for the December holiday season. Voting typically occurs the second Sunday of December.
